After a November to remember for Evan Hutcheon and the Innovex Estevan Bears, the 17-year-old netminder has been recognized by the league for his strong play.
Hutcheon was named the ‘Goalie of the Month’ after backstopping the Bears to a (7-0-0-1) record in 8 appearances in November. Hutcheon posted a sterling .911 SV% and 2.98 G.A.A. across 7 starts and 1 relief appearance. Hutcheon even added an assist on November 16th in a 5-2 win over the Saskatoon Contacts.
For the season entering play on December 10th, Hutcheon now has a record of (12-5-1-1) with a .905 SV% and 2.97 G.A.A.. The Regina product has a league-leading 20 appearances and played over 1,100 minutes in net.
