Boston Schmidt Commits To Humboldt Broncos For 2026-27 Season

Boston Schmidt has had an incredibly productive season to his final U18 AAA campaign with the Innovex Estevan Bears. Now, that strong play has been rewarded.

Schmidt announced his commitment to play the 2026-27 season with the Humboldt Broncos in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) on Wednesday, January 14th.

In a release announcing the commitment on humboldtbroncos.com, the club spoke highly of what Schmidt will bring to the Broncos next season.

“Boston plays with tremendous pace and has great offensive instincts,” stated Broncos’ Head Coach/GM Brayden Klimosko. “We’re excited to welcome him to the Broncos family.”

“Boston made our team in the fall, but we felt it would be best for his development to go back for another year in Estevan. He was our first signing of the year, and we’ve liked his game from day one.”
