The Innovex Estevan Bears, along with the SMAAAHL, have released their 44-game regular season schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
The Bears will open the year on the road in Saskatoon taking on the Contacts on September 25th & 26th. The following weekend on October 3rd & 4th, the Bears host their first two home games at Affinity Place against the Swift Current Legionnaires. The Bears defeated Swift Current in 5 games of the 2026 SMAAAHL Quarterfinal to win their first playoff round in franchise history.
Like all SMAAAHL teams, the Bears will play 22 home games and 22 road games. All home games are scheduled to be played at Affinity Place in Estevan, including the final two games of the regular season on February 26th & 27th against the Battlefords Stars.
Before the regular season begins, the Bears will play 4 exhibition games. The first two games will be in Estevan taking on the Brandon AAA Wheat Kings (Sept. 12th) and the Notre Dame Hounds (Sept. 13th).
October and February are the two busiest months for the Bears as they will play 10 games in each month. The Bears will be battle-tested early, as 14 of their first 21 games will be on the road. But after November 27th & 28th in Swift Current, the Bears will not have another overnight road trip until February 13th & 14th in Prince Albert.
