The Innovex Estevan Bears are very proud to announce our Leadership Group for the 2026-27 season!

C – Jack Robinson

Robinson earns the ā€˜C’ entering his final U18 season bringing the ā€œheart-and-soulā€ type of leadership on the ice that he’s displayed consistently over his previous two seasons with the club.

The forward from Moosomin joined the Bears partway through the 2024-25 season when a spot opened up and has been a reliable, 200-foot player for Head Coach/GM Ryan Pilon. Robinson suffered a season-ending injury in Game 32 of the 2025-26 season and though the Bears advanced to the semi-final against Regina, the Bears missed Robinson’s playoff-type game and physicality.

Though Robinson doesn’t possess the type of scoring ability that departed with former captain Gunner Moore, Robinson is capable of providing offence while helping raise the compete level every shift for his teammates as the Bears look to build on their most successful season in franchise history this year.

A – Taren Anderson

Anderson is the lone member of the leadership group who is still eligible to play another season with the Bears following this year. A prolific scorer before his first U18 AAA season last year, Anderson grew his all-around game as a rookie in 2025-26 while still chipping in 19 points with limited offensive opportunities. Anderson arguably has the highest offensive ceiling of any player on the Bears, and will be expected to play in all situations for the club in his second season.

A – Reid Kosior

Kosior is entering his second full season on the blueline for the Bears, and will likely be one of the most physical defenders in the league this season. Kosior plays an understated game but has the ability to shut down the oppositions best players consistently. As the 2025-26 season went on, Kosior started developing more offence to his game which was present before he reached the U18 AAA level. As a result, Kosior will likely play heavy minutes and in all situations for the Bears this season.

A – Jaxon Sedor

Sedor is the lone member of the team who has played two full seasons with the club having suited up in 85 regular season games and 13 playoff games with the Bears. His extensive experience will be leaned on by his teammates, many of whom are playing at the U18 AAA level for the first time. After playing a shutdown role in his rookie season, Sedor added offence in 2025-26 and his 20 points last year is the most by any returning player for the Bears this season.

A – Joe Watson

Watson rounds out the leadership group entering his second full season with the Bears. Like Robinson, Watson is a well-rounded 200-foot forward who chipped in offensively in a more shutdown role in 2025-26. Watson will be counted on for more offence this season, but his physical-style of play and determination on every shift will help raise the level of his younger teammates while they adjust to the U18 AAA level.
