The Innovex Estevan Bears will face the Regina Pat Canadians in the SMAAAHL Best-of-5 semi-final, and on Monday afternoon the dates were announced.
The series starts in Regina on Tuesday, March 10 before returning to Estevan on Friday, March 13 for Game 2. Game 3 is the next night back in Regina on Saturday night.
If necessary, Game 4 returns to Estevan on Tuesday, March 17 and Game 5 would be back in Regina on Wednesday, March 18.
The Bears went 1-2-1 in the season series against Regina. The Pat C’s won the season opener on September 23 by a 5-3 score. On December 2, the Bears fell 3-2 in overtime off a powerplay goal. On December 13, Regina ended the Bears 13-game point streak with a 7-2 win. But the Bears would win the final meeting of the regular season on January 7 with a convincing 7-4 victory at Affinity Place.
